NEW YORK, June 2024 – Meritage Wealth Insurance Advisors, LLC (MWIA), a national point-of-sale, focused life insurance general agency serving financial professionals across the life, annuity, retirement, legacy, and business/executive benefits planning solutions spaces, has joined forces with AmeriLife Group LLC affiliate Saybrus Partners. AmeriLife is a market leader in life and annuity distribution. MidCap Advisors, LLC (MidCap) served as the exclusive financial advisor to Houston-headquartered MWIA, which maintains offices in New York, Arizona, Washington, and Maryland.
MidCap was retained by MWIA after directly receiving an unsolicited offer from a prospective buyer. MidCap ran a full transaction process for MWIA in which several high-quality offers were obtained. MWIA selected AmeriLife to enable the company to grow its footprint across the insurance distribution space.
